About The Position

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you'll play a critical role in diagnostic testing by performing and overseeing both waived and non-waived tests in accordance with CLIA standards. Working independently and collaboratively, you'll ensure accurate, timely results that impact patient care. You'll also take on supervisory responsibilities, including quality control, staff training, and daily lab operations oversight. This is a behind-the-scenes role that demands precision, critical thinking, and a passion for laboratory excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences required.
• 1-2 years of lab experience required.
• Medical Technologist (ASCP) certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and its operation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to written protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and patients.
