About The Position

The Medical Lab Education Program Director has the responsibility for providing leadership for all formal training programs sponsored through Marshfield Laboratories. This individual works with the Division of Education Administration and laboratory personnel to ensure objectives for student, employee, and client educational needs are developed and advanced. Responsible for all aspects of the programs, including planning, maintaining program accreditation requirements, systematic review of program effectiveness, student recruitment, and serving as liaison with external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three years' experience in Teaching.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of educational methods and current accreditation and certification procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology - Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of current National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) accreditation procedures and certification procedures.
