Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills and strong customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a nationally recognized agency as a phlebotomist upon hire.
- Certification from a nationally recognized agency as a medical lab assistant within 2 years of hire date.
- Experience working in the clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- The Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) functions as a laboratory professional who assists other laboratory personnel in specimen collection, specimen receiving, specimen processing, laboratory testing, process improvement and quality initiatives.
