About The Position

Join Our Team as a Freelance Interpreter! If you are bilingual Spanish or French and are passionate about breaking down language barriers in healthcare, we would love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking on-site medical interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services for our clients in Maryland. We offer flexible scheduling which will allow you to enjoy the freedom to choose your own hours and workload. Please Note: This is a freelance opportunity, not a full-time or part-time position. Your workload will vary based on client needs, allowing you the flexibility to decide when and how much you work. We also offer a competitive pay rate (this will be discussed more in depth during the interview process). Requirements

• Have successfully completed a 40-hour Medical Interpreter Training Course
• Oral Language Proficiency Test in English and the target language(s)
• At least 2 years documented field experience providing interpreting services
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• Reside within the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, or Maryland area
• Willing to travel to clients’ locations
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Able to independently travel by car or public transport.
