About The Position

Responsibilities include interpreting for patients during medical consultations, assisting patients with questionnaires, forms, test/procedure preparation cards, and providing patients with general information. Must collaborate with others, organize time well, accomplish tasks, solve problems and communicate well. Relays medical information, including medication instructions between Mayo physicians and patients. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient’s age-specific needs is required.
