Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Ocala, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a high-acuity environment within a Level I Trauma Center. POSITION OVERVIEW The MICU RN provides critical care to medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
- ARRT certification required
- Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS certification required (within 30 days of start)
- New graduates welcome
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care nursing for MICU patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes rapidly
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Manage complex medical cases including ventilators and advanced monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
