About The Position

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP and Quality Medical Management Services USA, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Medical Insurance Collector for our Corporate office location located in Tarrytown, NY. The position involves following up on patient accounts to ensure claims for patient charges submitted to insurance companies are paid in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include processing appeals, analyzing and researching denials, and having knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding requirements. The role also requires processing refunds and payment posting experience, with knowledge of NextGen being a plus. Previous experience in the medical industry is required, along with an understanding of EOBs and refunds, and knowledge of medical terminology. The candidate must have the ability to maintain confidential information, multitask, take initiative, act professionally, and diffuse negative situations. A CPC certification is a plus.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical industry.
