As an Insurance Follow up Representative, you will be responsible for processing insurance accounts to address claim issues and thereby affect payment and/or bringing them to resolution. You will status account and document all work performed in the company and client computer systems, assess accounts to determine the next appropriate course of action in line with company policies and procedures, and place outbound calls to insurance companies, guarantors, patients, doctors' offices and/or facilities while handling incoming calls as necessary utilizing proper customer service protocol. You will also process related correspondence from insurance companies and perform pertinent follow-up, reconcile balances and payments between insurance companies and clients computer systems, and demonstrate communication and problem-solving skills.
