About The Position
Don't miss this opportunity to work with an amazing team and in a great work environment! We are looking to add one more Medical Insurance Billing and Collections expert. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits including a membership to the YMCA! Our office is located in Tampa near the airport. This is not a fully remote position but there is hybrid flexibility. This is a full-time position.
Requirements
- Two to Three years experience in insurance collections and/or certification in medical billing
Responsibilities
- Analyze daily denials and aging accounts for resolution
- Update and work insurance accounts via worklist or other assigned projects or reports
- Send Necessary appeals for payment
- Call on outstanding claims to status
- Note the EMR system of status and activity of invoices
- Answer incoming calls for billing questions
- Communicate with manager of any potential claim issues
- Other tasks as required
