As a Medical Imaging Assistant at Wyoming Medical Center, you will be a part of the patient experience. You will work with an exceptional group of technicians across different departments, expanding your skills and knowledge into radiologic technology. You will learn the operations of a medical imaging team and build your knowledge. You will be transporting patients from CT, MR, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine Studies, providing superior patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, operation of gurneys, beds, wheelchairs for safe patient transport between room and medical imaging department, cleaning of equipment and other duties as needed. POSITION SUMMARY This position assists technologists and/or nurses in department by performing non-technical, patient and procedure-related duties in accordance with department/facility policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative support functions and customer service for an assigned patient care area which promote an organized, efficient delivery of care to patients.
