In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting technologists and ensuring a smooth imaging experience for patients. Your day will include preparing exam rooms, calling back and changing patients before exams, performing IVs, and assisting with patient care coordination such as scheduling appointments, handling lab specimens, and retrieving prior imaging. Location: Banner Imaging (5605 W Eugie Ave, Suite 110) Schedule: This is a part time day shift opportunity working 20 hours per week. Expected days and hours are Thursdays 6:30a-8:00pm and Saturdays 6:30a-5:00pm with possible Sundays. Medical imaging plays a pivotal role in the delivery of excellent patient care at Banner Health. POSITION SUMMARY This position assists technologists and/or nurses in department by performing non-technical, patient and procedure-related duties in accordance with department/facility policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative support functions and customer service for an assigned patient care area which promote an organized, efficient delivery of care to patients.
