About The Position

At Solvita, you'll work in a cutting-edge facility where technology meets healthcare by creating grafts from living and cadaveric tissue and bone and ensuring that each allograft meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety. This position, internally titled as a Processing Technician, offers the chance to be at the forefront of medical manufacturing, directly contributing to products for transplantation that save and enhance patient lives. Our skin processing technicians transform the donor gift of skin tissue. In this area, technicians will produce lifesaving grafts in a sterile environment using automated machines and hand tools. Grafts are processed to specification before being released to medical facilities in the United States and around the world for human transplant.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work with living and cadaveric tissue/bone.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and precision in performing tasks.
  • Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team setting and follow directions.
  • Ability to report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
  • Requires heavy lifting and continuous levels of standing.
  • Good eye-hand coordination skills.

Responsibilities

  • Transform donor gift of skin tissue into lifesaving grafts.
  • Produce grafts in a sterile environment using automated machines and hand tools.
  • Ensure allografts meet the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain documentation with high attention to detail and precision.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
