Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical office administration is preferred.
Experience in medical front desk or receptionist roles is an asset.
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Professional demeanor with a compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors courteously and professionally, providing assistance as needed.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with mobile healthcare providers.
Answer and direct incoming calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary forms and supplies.
Assist with administrative tasks to support clinical staff and patient care operations.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
