This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter into the Healthcare Technology Management field. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required. What You'll Do Key Duties would include preventive maintenance; conducting operational tests; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions. Electronics experience and skill is desired. Working as part of a team this person will be servicing Patient Care Equipment, typically Patient beds, Wheelchairs, and Stretchers and basic Excel, testing cables and pillow speakers with basic hand tools.. As well as Alaris IV Infusion Pumps, conducting preventative maintenance and repairs. Experience working in a hospital setting preferred but not required, we will train the right person. Key Responsibilities in HTM/Clinical Engineering: Infrastructure Support: Installing, routing, and maintaining data cabling (Cat6, fiber optic) to support electronic health records (EHR), telehealth, and imaging applications. Medical Equipment Interfacing: Constructing, repairing, and troubleshooting specialized cables and adapters for clinical equipment such as patient monitors, imaging devices, and infusion pumps. Network Reliability: Managing connections for nursing station telemetry transmitters, VoIP systems, and Wi-Fi access points to ensure clinical communication is seamless. Compliance & Safety: Following strict hospital codes, HIPAA regulations, and standards (e.g., BICSI) for cable labeling, testing, and documentation. Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular inspections and performance testing (EMI, crosstalk) of cabling to ensure patient safety and reduce downtime.
