About The Position

Technical Specialist are responsible for delivering, removing, servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. The job requires daily travel using a company vehicle. The service area may extend 250+ miles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid license with minimum 3 years driving experience.
• Must be insurable at standard automobile rates at all times.
• Ability to sit, kneel, bend, or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to safety lift, move or transport, 50-75 lbs. with and without physical aids.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for short and long-distance travel.
• Must wear provided personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, and protective clothing.

Nice To Haves

• Technical or Trade School training or certification.
• Customer support experience.
• Work experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry.
• Proficient with standard technology devices and Apps (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities.
• Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance and repair activities.
• Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer.
• Periodically works on-call rotation.
• Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep.
