About The Position

PROBO Medical is seeking Medical Equipment Installation Technicians / Mechanical Installation Service Technicians for multiple openings across the US, with training provided. This role is suitable for individuals with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or other technical abilities who are looking for a career change involving travel. Positions are available from entry-level to experienced team leads. The technician's work activities may include the coordination and installation, de-installation, relocation, and/or service upgrades of medical equipment in, but not limited to, hospitals, universities, and Federal Buildings. Various diagnostic imaging modalities may include AXA, AXD, CT, MR, and NM, and other related technical paraphernalia associated with these modalities.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read Metric and Standard measurement and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.
  • Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and maintain clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED, Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year university or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • install, de-install and upgrade medical equipment.
  • Up to 100% travel throughout the country
  • Maintains integrity of confidential information
  • Maintains customer relationships, and comply with procedures, policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines
  • Responsible for following all safety OSHA guidelines and maintains a safe work environment through safe work practices
  • Deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer
  • Assists the Team Leader with maintaining documentation in accordance with the standard procedures and customer requirements
  • Represents PROBO and the customer in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assists Team Leader with quality and compliance with the PROBO standard operating procedures, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008 (International Standard Organization) and ensures each process is followed by each team member
  • Assists the Team Leader with coordinating suppliers and helps direct on-site deliveries of equipment.
