About The Position

The Medical Equipment Delivery Technician at Horizon Oxygen & Medical Equipment is responsible for delivering and installing durable medical equipment (DME) for hospice care. This role emphasizes compassion and understanding while providing excellent customer service to patients and their families. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 5 years of driving experience.
• Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Physically able to lift and move medical equipment up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility of schedule (including overtime and weekends).
• Punctual and reliable.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving for 3 years (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Deliver, pick-up, and set-up DME.
• Educate patients, family members, nurses, etc. on proper use of DME.
• Utilize company delivery software.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and complete appropriate maintenance/safety records.
• Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
