The Medical Director provides expert scientific and strategic guidance that supports both clients and internal teams across current accounts and new business opportunities. This role entails analyzing clinical and scientific data to ensure content accuracy and aiding cross-functional teams in medical communications and development of medical marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree: PhD, PharmD, or MD.
• 5-7 years of experience working in a medical communications agency.
• Strong knowledge of various therapeutic areas
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects
• Strong experience working strategically with clients and owning accounts

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Market access preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitating the implementation of medical marketing strategies through clinical data reviews, key market insights, treatment landscape analysis, and current trends in the therapeutic area.
• Developing medical strategies, including but not limited to SWOT analyses, unmet need identification, market shaping strategy, and congress intelligence
• Providing scientific expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients
• Demonstrating the ability to translate complex clinical data into key claims and messages
• Leading the creation and review of scientific content for videos, website materials, advisory boards, scientific platforms, brochures, slide decks and more.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communication strategies
• Managing/mentoring junior medical staff
