At State of the Heart Recovery, the Medical Director serves as the senior medical leader guiding clinical excellence across mental health and substance use treatment programs. This role oversees medical and clinical aspects of care, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), ensuring services are delivered safely, ethically, and in accordance with evidence-based standards. The Medical Director works collaboratively with clinical leadership, nursing teams, and operational leadership to develop treatment protocols, guide quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s clinical strategy while supporting interdisciplinary teams dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals in recovery.
