Our Medical Directors spend 90+% of their time practicing medicine! Must be full-time status with a minimum of two years of veterinary experience to qualify. The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered. In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of CareVet leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our hospital is dedicated to delivering high-quality, progressive, and personalized medical care for every patient. We support our team with advanced tools and technology, including digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, and a multifunction anesthesia monitor with ETCO₂, pulse oximetry, temperature, and heart rate monitoring.
