Medical Director Role Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our clinicians in our skilled nursing facilities in the Greensboro, North Carolina, area Conduct clinical case reviews as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care Represent TeamHealth on appropriate external levels identifying, building relationships within the post-acute care community Collaborate with clinicians, hospital leaders and others regarding care and services for enrollees Review care coordination initiatives, develop collaborative intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issues Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
Requirements
- Active North Carolina Medical License and DEA
- Active Medicare and Medicaid number
- Physicians trained or practicing medicine in the following disciplines are encouraged to apply: family practice (FP), primary care, internal medicine (IM), adult, post-acute, home health, hospice, palliative, wound care, and hospital medicine (HM).
Responsibilities
