In the beautiful Seymour, Tennessee (25 minutes from Knoxville), Seymour Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Medical Director to join our team! We are a part of a diverse community located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Seymour is surrounded by beautiful lakes, rivers and mountains that provide our community with year round seasonal activities including the thrills of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Role: Medical Director This is a hybrid role combining clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. You’ll work primarily as a practicing veterinarian while helping guide the medical standards, mentoring newer doctors, and partnering with hospital leadership to drive team development. Requirements

  • A full-time, experienced veterinarian
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • A collaborative, servant-leadership approach
  • Someone passionate about both excellent patient care and mentoring others
  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university upon hire
  • Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
  • Active Veterinary State License upon hire
