About The Position

An exceptional veterinary hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide leadership, oversee medical operations, and ensure superior patient and client care. The ideal candidate is a veterinarian prepared to manage a team of doctors and medical staff, and successfully oversee the clinical direction of the practice. The hospital is open to considering experienced veterinarians ready to take on a senior leadership role, overseeing medical operations and collaborating with the practice manager.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university
• Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure
• Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain
• A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics
• Proven leadership experience, typically overseeing medical operations
