About The Position

VCA Animal Healing Center located in Langhorne, PA is looking for a classically trained and holistically oriented Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. Our 4-doctor practice is located in a historical building in beautiful Langhorne, PA, located just north of Philadelphia. We’re especially interested in candidates that either have a background in holistic modalities, or an interest towards training in acupuncture, chiropractic, Western & Chinese herbs, and such! We are committed to being a client-centered, pet-focused practice that offers a combination of both traditional and alternative care options to optimize the health and wellbeing of our animal friends. We believe in using a fear free approach with every pet. As an integrative practice, we offer acupuncture, cold laser therapy, allergy elimination, nutraceuticals, Chinese herbals, supplements, homeopathy, food therapy, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, full anesthesia monitoring, preventative care, vaccines, monthly prevention, diagnostic labwork, dental cleanings & extractions, and surgical procedures. We are seeking a full time Medical Director and will consider any candidate interested in part time. Our hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-4pm and Sat 8am-3pm. A full time doctor at Animal Healing Center can expect to work 4 days a week (rotating Saturday duty) with one assigned surgery day per week. Our current doctor team is flexible with schedule in order to meet the needs of a new veterinarian. Join us in the picturesque town of Langhorne, Pennsylvania with its festivals, shops, art galleries, restaurants, and historic district. The picturesque Delaware River and its scenic character is only a few minutes away. Langhorne is an easy commute to Philadelphia to enjoy all of the activities of the city and a train ride away from NYC!!

Requirements

  • Classically trained veterinarian.
  • Interest or background in holistic modalities.
  • Experience in advanced veterinary medicine.
