About The Position

Gould Medical Group is looking for a BE/BC Trauma and Acute Care Medical Director in Modesto, CA. The medical director will lead a team consisting of trauma surgeons and APCs. The position requires preferred experience with building and managing a trauma program with an acute care surgery component. The role includes a starting base salary of $538,111, with a 5 FTE medical director and 0.5 FTE clinical. Critical care fellowship is preferred. The position also offers RVU bonus potential based on productivity and a sign-on bonus. The hospital, Memorial Medical Center, is a 423-bed, Level 2 trauma center. Completion of one ATLS course is required. The shift requirement includes 91 12-hour trauma surgery shifts, with the possibility of back-to-back shifts. The EHR system used is Epic. This is a stable and growing group.

• Board eligible or board certified.
• Completion of one ATLS course.
• Preferred critical care fellowship.
