About The Position

Shasta Regional Medical Center in Redding, CA, a member of the esteemed Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director/Clinical Physician to join our team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the delivery of high-quality medical care within our community. Position Summary The Medical Director/Clinical Physician is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all medical care and quality of services provided at the clinic. This position will serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff and will collaborate with the Leadership team, to ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by quality goals. The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will also provide delivery of medical services to their own panel of patients of the clinic in a primary care environment as well as being a part of the GME and teaching of residents. The salary of the Medical Director/Clinical Physician may differ depending on experience and qualifications, but benefits may include a Salary Package of $350,000 to $400,000 annually, CME, health insurance, 401K and malpractice insurance coverage. Sign-on bonus - $50,000, bonus package

Requirements

  • 3-5 years work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Graduate of a University/Program with a Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic- MD or DO
  • Current California Medical License - MD or DO
  • Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
  • Current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
  • Current medical staff member at Shasta Regional Medical Center or meets all credentialing requirements in order to obtain privileges

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Medical Director experience preferred
