About The Position

As Medical Director, you'll lead a large, skilled team that includes emergency doctors and board-certified specialists. In partnership with the Hospital Director, you'll oversee medical quality, support operational excellence, and foster a positive and professional environment where collaboration thrives. You'll split your time between clinical work and leadership, maintaining your hands-on emergency skills while mentoring and guiding your team. We're looking for someone who's passionate about team development, forward-thinking medical care, and building strong, trusting relationships-both internally and within the wider veterinary community.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent degree, and eligibility for Ohio veterinary licensure.
  • Proven emergency medicine experience.
  • At least 3-5 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for driving positive change and medical excellence.
  • Comfort leading a team that includes specialists.
