Repairs internship Objective: Support the launch of international PAL and endoscope repairs via third party repair centers. Role: Support project management and drive the tasks for execution of these projects. Learn hands-on these mechanical functions and operational procedures. Facilitate and implement continuous improvement within these projects.
Responsibilities
- Support project management and drive the tasks for execution of these projects.
- Learn hands-on these mechanical functions and operational procedures.
- Facilitate and implement continuous improvement within these projects.
- Learn the basic flow of existing repair centers, models.
- Map the tasks needed across various stakeholders; ops, Eng, QA, IRC, logistics, sales.
- Organize define tasks, conduct, follow up with various parties for Weakley team meetings
- Follow up with engineering for tasks related to equipment
- Conduct various training sessions for customer service, Sales, and operations audiences.
- Draft repair procedures for endoscope repairs process
- Learn, hands-on repairs process for scopes
- Identify and learn to use the basic endoscope diagnostic equipment.
- Train operators to perform in-house endoscope diagnostic.
- Learn hand, sign the basics of hand piece modular repair
- Learn, hands-on basic preventative maintenance.
- Provide suggestions for improvement.
- Participate in preventative maintenance time reduction Kaizen
- Virtually train international repair centers to the PM process
- Collect, feedback, and drive corrective actions associated to International Repair Center, PMs.
- Drive simplification of repair fuel codes.
