About The Position

The Medical Device Extremities & Sports Medicine Sales Associate is responsible for training, sales, and support services of orthopedic, podiatric, and medical devices within the assigned territory. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, educating healthcare professionals on product usage, and ensuring timely delivery of products for surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma with at least two years of successful medical device sales experience.
• Strong sales and communication skills.
• Knowledge of orthopedic concepts and human anatomy.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
• Ability to carry weights up to 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to wear a protective lead apron for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Current relationships in the marketplace preferred.
• Sales device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships while covering orthopedic and podiatric procedures with clinical proficiency.
• Educate and inform surgeons, nurses, and staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices.
• Facilitate on-time delivery of products to customers.
• Manage territory case coverage and ensure proper delivery and retrieval of surgical trays.
• Maintain inventory levels of instruments and implants.
• Solve product problems for customers promptly.
• Solicit orders from current and prospective customers for assigned products.
• Adhere to laws and company policies regarding interactions with healthcare professionals and product handling.
• Keep the Regional Sales Manager informed of territory progress regularly.
• Direct product evaluations in operating room and office settings.
• Plan and coordinate product training for surgeons and operating room staff.
• Attend local, regional, and national trade shows and labs as requested.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a salary range of $38,000 - $55,000 per year.
