About The Position
As a Medical Device Driver, you will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of products/services for our representatives and customers. Your duties will include preparing, shipping, receiving, and scheduling delivery of products; ensuring timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets; and fielding customer questions and directing them to appropriate branch personnel. You will also arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations, read maps, and configure routes. Safety inspections in a transportation setting will be part of your responsibilities, along with loading, unloading, or stacking containers, materials, or products. You will create and/or review lists of delivery and pick-ups, record transactions and issues on customer receipts, and provide customer service in surface transportation. Additionally, you will field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members, perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on the company delivery vehicle, and keep accurate maintenance records. Advising your supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle will also be part of your role. You will be responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting, and optimizing inventory utilization. Lastly, you will record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records.
