About The Position

Position Summary Handles, organizes, assembles, and documents medical device components used on endoscopes. Must have a strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to use fine motor skills to assemble components. Will work within a small production team inside an ISO 8 clean room environment to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

Identify correct components, and maintain high levels of accuracy and organization
Assembly by hand of precision mechanical, medical components under clean room conditions and in compliance with the necessary manufacturing specifications
Use correct adhesives / primers to assemble components.
Record correct LOT numbers (critical to assembly).
Sterilize workstation and disinfect according to work instructions. This is done at the start of shift, during shift, weekly and monthly to prevent contamination.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize clean room on regular schedule according to work instructions.
Maintain verification documents to ensure the highest quality of Ovesco products
Print work orders and assemble required components daily to achieve production plan.
Monitor inventory levels on components and consumables to ensure there are no production interruptions.
General plant duties as assigned by the production manager or management.
Comply with company quality objectives.
Ensure quality and accuracy of products.
Continuous improvement of own work area and optimization of the corresponding processes.
Facilitate a work environment that supports a Safe and Healthy Culture.
Comply with Safety Laws and Regulations and use of Safety Equipment
