In the role of a Genetic Counselor you will be working in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Provides genetic counseling as a practitioner in cooperation with medical staff within Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. Works within defined scope of practice directly with the patient to provide assessment, counseling, test facilitation, follow-up, and referral to resources as necessary. Provides needed documentation for patient and physicians. Develops, implements, and executes Genetic Counseling Program initiatives to assist in the program operating at the highest standard of quality and consistency, supporting the Medical College of Wisconsin's strategies and initiatives. Cooperates in activities and responsibilities with fellow genetic counselors.
