About The Position
The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a multidisciplinary health care team, providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the patients of the Hepatology Transplant services located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Froedtert Hospital Specialty Clinics. In this role you will work in a shared practice model with one or more faculty members, as well as independently, within the sub-specialty of Hepatology Transplant clinics. The APP will be responsible for new and follow-up visits, in-basket management, and evaluating other acute patient issues. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate brings a willingness to learn, is a team player and wants to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to adults patients in a clinic setting.
