About The Position
The Medical Collector position is a full-time role at a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Beverly Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will be dedicated and detail-oriented, responsible for managing and maintaining accounts receivable (A/R) status for patient accounts. This role requires a proactive approach to identify trends in claim denials and reimbursements, as well as processing appeals for revenue recovery. The Medical Collector will also be tasked with reconciling charge and payment discrepancies, responding promptly to queries and follow-ups, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. Collaboration with insurance companies to resolve outstanding claims is a key aspect of this position, along with updating patient account information and payment status. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a consistent day shift for the employee.
