As a Medical Coder , you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant coding for our provider clients.

Requirements

CPC certification (required)
2+ years of professional medical coding experience (required)
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Nice To Haves

Experience with E/M and specialty-specific coding (preferred)

Responsibilities

Assigning accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation
Reviewing clinical documentation to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
Working closely with billing teams to resolve coding-related claim issues and denials
Staying current on coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulatory updates
Supporting audits and providing coding feedback when needed
Contributing to process improvement and quality initiatives
