The Receptionist provides administrative support to the Indian Health Clinic’s staff; greets and directs patients; collects patient registration and update packets and checks them for completeness; answers phones and returns messages; schedules appointments for multiple providers; performs data entry in the EHR; collects fees and co-pays as well as daily cash reconciliation; makes outreach calls to clients who need services; and performs other duties as assigned. This is a key role in which you will set the tone for the client’s visit and assist them with other needs. A warm, calm, service-oriented, and trauma-informed communication style is essential. Attention to detail and follow through are also critical.
