We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations and human resource functions at our successful and growing orthopedic group. You will join a team of talented and experienced medical professionals specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and podiatry with over 20 plus supporting staff members. This key role requires a proactive problem solver with strong operational management skills and a proven ability to drive process improvements and foster a culture of accountability and team engagement. Requirements

  • Strong operational management skills.

  • Possession of a high school diploma or proof of analogous education.
  • Possession of United States proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States.
  • Possession of a driver license or analogous identification.
  • Willingness to participate in Hospital orientation and educational in-service.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably, possession of certification, or a degree from an accredited university, in a field related to healthcare administration or nursing.
  • Optimally, possession of current certified or registered medical assistant certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Medical Technologists, National Center for Competency Testing, or National Healthcare Association.
  • Optimally, previous certification in application of principles that are intended, within healthcare settings, to minimize waste and maximize quality and value (i.e. “Lean Certification”).
  • At least three years of experience within a healthcare office (optimally, a medical specialty clinic) in roles that sequentially progressed in degree of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Clinic Operations Oversee daily clinic activities and integrate business strategies to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage clinic budget and coordinate resources to optimize patient throughput and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, laws, and departmental procedures.
  • Conduct audits and monitor clinic performance for compliance and quality.
  • Patient Care & Performance Improvement Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service in a safe, professional environment.
  • Optimize patient experience through inclusive practices, satisfaction surveys, and prompt resolution of complaints.
  • Implement and educate staff on performance improvement projects.
  • Document complaints and safety concerns according to policy.
  • Staff Management Monitor and adjust staff schedules for efficient workflow and adequate breaks.
  • Conduct interviews, hire staff, and oversee onboarding.
  • Perform evaluations, provide supervision, and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Ensure staff education, training, and certifications remain current.
  • Lead daily huddles, monthly meetings, and other educational sessions.
  • Compliance & Safety Educate staff on policies, procedures, laws, and standards.
  • Conduct monthly fire drills, quarterly safety inspections, and other required checks.
  • Financial & Business Duties Manage clinic expenditures and provide monthly financial statements.
  • Participate in long-term planning and budget development.
  • Oversee payroll, timecard reviews, and staff leave management.
  • Handle revenue activities, including cash collection, deposits, and payor verification.
  • Manage supply inventory and restocking.
