About The Position

This position is for a leader who will apply their skills and knowledge of operations to improve the health of America's workforce within Concentra's national network of over 500 medical centers and 130 onsite clinics. The Center Operations Director, also referred to as a Medical Center Manager, is a vanguard of the practice, working with the Leadership Team to ensure standard procedures and operations are executed precisely. This role is crucial for providing an excellent customer experience and delivering optimal quality healthcare services to the community. The manager will act as the face to current and prospective patients, drive the practice's success, and be directly accountable for the P&L.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong service mentality and a focus on achieving defined service standards
  • Considerate and supporting communication style; warm, positive, upbeat demeanor
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks at a time in a dynamic environment without direct supervision
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Builds an environment of team building, integrity, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, reward and recognition at the center level.
  • Monitors and drives key business and clinical metrics.
  • Ensures staffing optimization and holds staff accountable to impact workflow and patient experience for all disciplines and sites.
  • Works with clinicians in assessing center processes, work flows and staffing to continuously improve the patient experience.
  • Maintains and establishes relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, networks, local communities, etc. to drive market growth.
  • Mentors and coaches their team regarding business metrics, patient/client happiness, process and procedure, etc.
  • Develops colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, mentoring / development, engagement, retention, performance management and succession planning.
