About The Position
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Billing Specialist to join our inclusive mental health practice. As the Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for insurance claims submission, resubmitting or appealing denied claims, and investigating issues related to claims. You will also be responsible for generating and sending client invoices, recording and reconciling client payments, and addressing any client inquiries or balance concerns. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of medical mental health billing procedures and insurance processes, along with familiarity with best practices in data entry and analysis. You must demonstrate an unwavering commitment to providing an inclusive, empathetic environment for our clients, team members, and providers alike. The Billing Specialist is responsible, as all team members are, for representing the mission and values of Optimum Mental Health Services at all times.
