The company operates six locations across central and southern Connecticut and provides both emergency and nonemergency medical care to facilities and communities throughout the state. Your Role: The EMS Billing Specialist will perform administrative work by ensuring accurate billing of ambulance ePCRs (electronic Patient Care Reports), timely submission of claims, monitoring claim status, researching rejections and denials, document related account activities, record adjustments, process appeals, manage collections and all other necessary interaction and follow-up

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year medical or ambulance billing work experience and ICD coding
