About The Position
Inwood Village Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Representative to join our team in Dallas, TX. This full-time position requires a professional who is adept at handling various aspects of medical billing, including insurance verification, collections, claims processing, and superbills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries, explanation of benefits (EOBs), and claims status. The role is crucial in ensuring that our billing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall financial health of our practice. As a Medical Billing Representative, you will be responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, processing claims accurately, and following up on outstanding payments. You will also be tasked with resolving any discrepancies that may arise during the billing process. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients about their bills and insurance matters will be essential in providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of medical billing codes, particularly ICD-10, and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient information. This role is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, providing a stable work schedule. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $18, commensurate with experience.
