Position Details: Reports to: Billing Supervisor Location: Edmond, Oklahoma (onsite) Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Reason for opening: Growing team and increased billing volume Why You'll Love This Role Consistent weekday schedule with early Fridays Team-oriented environment with a clear workflow Direct impact on both revenue cycle performance and patient experience A company culture that values accuracy, compliance, and communication What You'll Do As a Medical Billing Follow-Up Specialist, you'll work closely with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to resolve unpaid claims, investigate denials, and keep billing processes on track. Key responsibilities include: Following up with insurance providers on unpaid or denied claims Researching and resolving billing discrepancies Correcting and resubmitting claims as needed Communicating with patients about balances and insurance questions Assisting patients in accessing financial assistance when applicable Documenting all interactions and maintaining accurate billing records Collaborating with your team to improve efficiency and reduce delays Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy standards What Were Looking For High school diploma or GED (required) At least 1 year of medical billing follow-up experience Proficiency in EMR and billing software Strong knowledge of billing codes and insurance processes Excellent communication skills with both patients and providers Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem-solver Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment Why Join Our Partner?
