Wee Care Liberty Post is currently seeking a Medical Billing Associate in Dyer, IN and surrounding areas. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State as well as other states, now including Indiana. We employ over 500, and growing, professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Position Summary: The Medical Billing Associate is responsible for handling clerical accounting and billing tasks, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely processing of patient accounts. Responsibilities
- Applies receipts to claims for insurance payments and write-offs, researches and resolved payment discrepancies
- Performs key accounting functions, including generating aging and held claim reports, and resolving denied claims.
- Addresses customer service inquiries and coordinates with state fiscal agents, insurance providers, and county agencies to resolve billing-related issues.
