Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or related field
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Basic math and financial skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of billing procedures and practices
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Customer-oriented approach with problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with medical billing a plus (if applicable to the industry)

Responsibilities

Process invoices, bills, and payments accurately and efficiently
Verify and reconcile billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
Maintain organized billing records and documentation
Generate and distribute billing reports as needed
Collaborate with accounting and customer service teams to ensure smooth billing operations
Assist in month-end closing procedures related to billing
Support accounts receivable and collections processes
Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
Contribute to the improvement of billing procedures and systems
