About The Position
MAJOR FUNCTION: The Medical Biller’s general responsibilities include accurately billing patient accounts, submitting accurate claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and confirming proper documentation is occurring in the patient accounting system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital, physician practice, or health insurance environment required.
- At least 1 year of medical billing experience strongly preferred.
Nice To Haves
- College coursework or degree preferred.
