High School Diploma
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical billing or a related healthcare administrative role.
Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong understanding of medical billing procedures, including coding, billing regulations, and insurance claim processing.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficient in using billing software and other computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle billing discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Experience working in a surgical or outpatient setting is preferred.
