Medical Biller (NOT a remote position)
About The Position
Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking for a Medical Biller. This position is in Fairbury Nebraska. This IS NOT a remote position. Full-time: Monday through Friday Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Commercial Insurances. This position is critical to the financial cycle of all healthcare providers. See attached job description for a full descrption. Requirements
- One year certification from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm.
- Knowledge of business and accounting processes.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good organization skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Competent use of computer systems, software and 10 key calculators.
Nice To Haves
- Medical office experience, preferred.
