Requirements

2+ years of medical billing or AR follow-up experience preferred
Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance claims processes
Experience with accounts receivable management and claim denial resolution
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with insurance providers and internal teams

Nice To Haves

Experience with medical billing software or EHR systems preferred

Responsibilities

Review patient accounts and ensure accurate charge entry and claim submission
Perform accounts receivable follow-up on outstanding insurance claims
Investigate and resolve claim denials, underpayments, and billing discrepancies
Communicate with insurance companies to verify benefits and resolve billing issues
Maintain accurate billing documentation and patient account records
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure proper billing procedures
Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations and payer requirements
