About The Position

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience working in a medical clinic and/or hospital.

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail and concentration.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty specific MA experience preferred.
• Electronic Medical Record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high call volume management.
• Handle check-in and check-out processes for patients.
• Collect copays, co-insurance, and past due balances.
• Verify insurance eligibility and referrals.
• Schedule appointments and assist with workflow inbox.
• Manage billing, medical records, and collections.
• Resolve missing slips and support patient outreach for upcoming appointments.
• Provide general nursing care and assist patients in a clinical setting.
• Conduct patient triage and intake processes.
• Manage clinical inbox and follow up on results.
• Schedule procedures and facilitate orders.
• Handle pre-certifications and medication prior-authorizations.
