About The Position
The position involves preparing and rooming patients according to established practice protocols, which include taking vital signs, reviewing medications, and gathering patient histories. The role also includes performing EKGs, preparing electronic medical records for scheduled office visits, and administering refill requests with physician approval. The individual will assist Registered Nurses with patient education and testing instructions, as well as cleaning and stocking exam rooms. The primary work location is the Columbia clinic, with some travel required to outlying clinics such as Jeff City, Mexico, and Marshall during office hours.
